Inspired by David McKee’s beloved children’s book character, each large sculpture will be uniquely decorated by established and up and coming artists, creating a parade through the town that will be enjoyed by visitors and locals for eight weeks. The Elephants will be placed around key landmarks, streets, and open spaces across Blackpool, with visitors encouraged to visit as many as possible all to raise money for Brian House Children’s Hospice.
Visitors and residents can explore the town centre, parks and open spaces while following the Trail to discover all of the bold and eye-catching large Elmers, a brilliant way to see all Blackpool has to offer.
The free, family-friendly trail, which will see at least 30 large Elmer sculptures in key locations around Blackpool, will run for eight weeks from 13th April to 9th June 2024.
Look out for them when you enjoy a Spring break with us at The Bond Hotel.
