ROLL UP, ROLL UP! See the thrills of Circus 250 at Blackpool Tower!

NEW SHOW FOR 2018 – 250 YEARS OF CIRCUS

This summer sees Mooky and Mr. Boo’s Mammoth Circus Celebration at The Blackpool Tower Circus! This year you don’t just experience the circus, you are invited be part of it to celebrate 250 years of Circus. Back in 1768, showman, entrepreneur and equestrian rider Philip Astley created the world’s first circus on an abandoned patch of land near London’s Waterloo. Fast forward through many global evolutions, including arguably ‘The Greatest Showman’ P.T. Barnum, to the present day.

From Mooky and Mr. Boo’s trip around the world to their wild western stand-off in Buffalo Bill, the Endresz family’s Blackpool Tower Circus show has wowed audiences and delighted families for over two decades!

The show will amaze and entertain in equal measure as it brings even more astonishing jaw-dropping stunts and comedy capers in what can only be described as the must-see show of the season. Mooky and Mr. Boo deliver belly-laughs aplenty with their hilarious slapstick antics along with death-defying stunts from top class acts all over the world.

About Blackpool Tower Circus…

Throughout the year, Blackpool Tower Circus welcomes thousands of visitors all eager to be amazed and enjoy all the thrills of the Big Top at Blackpool Tower Circus. Laci Endresz has been with the Tower Circus for over 25 years and enlists his two sons, Mooky the Clown and Mr. Boo, to join in with the fun. The Endresz family celebrated its 25th year at the venue two years ago in 2016. Laci Endresz Jr is not only the third of his family with the same name, he is also the third generation Mooky, the clown previously portrayed by his father. Laci Sr directed the show until recently when he officially handed the reins over to his two sons although he remains heavily involved in all aspects of the casting process, travelling around the world talent-spotting.

We can highly recommend the attraction to all visitors; although a listed building the circus is wheelchair accessible and offers free carer access when supporting someone.

If you are a fan of the circus then why not book a break at The Bond Hotel and get over to Blackpool Tower to catch the show itself before taking in this year’s Illuminations!
