Direct Marketing Manager

Responsibilities;

  • Managing the company promotion to ensure campaigns are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Work with the sales manager to push events within the hotel and spread the promotion of the company to new target audiences
  • Plan and implement marketing campaigns across all direct/digital/email marketing channels
  • Ensure brand consistency runs across the campaigns
  • Manage the direct marketing budget
  • Use your creativity to produce innovative campaigns that stand out from the crowd, all artwork will be created by you in house
  • Report campaign success to the sales manager on a regular basis
  • Be aware of current customer trends to implement into the campaigns
  • Create a testing report which analyses the success of the marketing campaigns
  • Use the testing reports to improve the overall marketing success

Key Skills/Experience;

  • Around three years’ experience within a similar role
  • A strong understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite is required as all artwork will be created in house by you
  • The ability to adapt to new sector trends and to implement them quickly with new ideas
  • You must have a sound understanding of SEO management, PPC and online advertising
  • You will need to have the ability to research the industry thoroughly and adapt your work into this
  • A proven track record of managing similar direct marketing campaigns
  • A strong understanding of email marketing technologies e.g Mail Chimp including the automation on the back end
  • Strong leader that works well under pressure – this role does have demanding periods and you will be supported by the sales manager
  • Must have the ability to manage large marketing budgets effectively
  • Proven ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Must be an analytical yet creative thinker
  • Can create flawless copy and be able to proof read to a high standard

 

Position Details;

  • This position is primarily a Monday to Friday 9-5 office based role, extra hours may be included depending on exhibitions that have been booked for promotion
  • Relevant experience is essential as this will be an instant start position, company training will be provided but your knowledge base in marketing needs to be firm and grounded
  • Wages will be negotiated depending on experience, will be discussed at interview – a portfolio of your previous work will be required
